pcv valve?
haha I just changed mine tonight, my friend had an extra at Advance autoparts, so I figured why not. It costs $2-4.
Take off your plastic engine cover (4 bolts) and look for #2 in the diagram

What's wrong with your PCV? Are you getting high idle-speed? or Did you find Oil in your Airbox? You can also check it on idle by pinching the PCV hose going into the intake manifold. There should be a clicking noise.

i don't even remember making this thread. i must've had something wrong back then, but it probably corrected itself. now though, my check engine light is on and i'm having idle problems. i've already ordered a new iacv. should i change my pcv too? btw, i do hear this clicking noise under the hood.

It's good to check it ocasionally in either case.
Strange thing about the PVC valve is that my dealer doesn't stock this item. This is usually an indication that it's not replaced very often. Parts guy thought I was nuts for needing to replace mine. I definitely had a stuck valve that needed to be replaced and when I explained my setup, he understood.
