first off i have Comptech headers and CAI, even when i underestimate them, i come up with 195HP at the wheels, like you stock CL-S guys, but this always starts a problem on the forum, so just forget, heres the point/proof:

BTW, these are probably drivers races, but still:

1). the STI: these cars are ALL acceleration, where our cars lack.. But we have TOP END with the VTEC, where i truly believe the STI lacks. so on the highway, medium traffic so we're going like 50m.p.h. before anything happens...then it starts up cuz we're just cruising and i give him a thumbs up...we had very even acceleration from 50. i was in 2nd. no one exactly pulled on the other...but also SO much traffic so we couldn't open up past 90ish. we fooled around for like 20mins, and i noticed i had plenty of pull and on our many runs, he never impressed me...ended with him looking at my car and smiling and giving thumbs up...he was surprised and probably heading to a garage soon! lol

2). theres this S2000 with an exhaust... i pull next to him as the light turns yellow, so we line up. im staring, he cockily rolls down the window. my dialogue: VTEC baby, DOHC" [meaning him] then "nice exhaust whats under the hood" no answer=nothing and being cocky. i say " i got headers and CAI, too bad my car is too heavy" he says" yeah too bad" i didnt think i had a chance, but off we went on green...i pulled everytime he had to shift...i love my SportShift mode!!!!! we ended at 105m.p.h. where he was definitely gaining fast!!!! but cars coming up...

both solid runs AND I WILL NOT SAY I WON EITHER RACE...just plain fun in cruising and i definitely surprised both guys...they will rethink the CL's bite...

 

nice run...i miss my cl sometimes...i had a first gen 3.0 then i bought and 03 cl-s and now i have a 350z

see you must understand how i work!! i was basically praising his car...b/c honestly it was nice...yeah i was talking about him...and i wanted to show i knew about his car, that i wasn't some dumbass b/c i knew i was gonna run, but i didnt know i was gonna pull ahead [well at first at least thanks to ss mode]

so when i pulled [basically b/c he had to shift], he was embarassed more cuz i made him think his car was amazing for praising it before him falling behind...he didnt know what hit him. lol
