Depending on what radar you have, mine shuts off with the engine. Its plugged into the lighter port right next to the coin tray. I've noticed the socket inside the arm compartment stays on. I have a phone charger in there, that light stays on after the car is off, but thats so minimal, its doubtful it has any significant drain.

None of the accessory outlets stay on after the car is turned off. rcz22, did you buy your car used? Maybe someone rewired the one in the center console.

My phone charger is in the center “arm compartment” and the power outlet goes on/off with the key.

I believe all Acuras are this way. I know the MDX is.

How old is your battery? The stock batteries don't seem to last that long. Maybe around 2-3 years.

My battery failed just outside the Honda replacement warranty. The dealer prorated the replacement.

I was told the same thing by the dealer, they wanted $140 to install it. I said "no", and its been more than 3 month and it still works. When it dies, I will get "Die Hard" for less money and it will last longer than OEM battery. I keep jump cables in my car, so getting a jump start won't be a problem. dont listen to a dealer, they want you to buy stuff from them..

No complaint just a statement of fact. I have been buying Hondas since 1978, and none of the batteries have failed in such a short time. My wife's 1999 Accord V6 battery lasted the normal 3 years. The battery failure is just one of many problems that have occurred on my CL-S.
