Brake Light

Now why would my brake light be coming on like the parking brake is engaged.. Check parking break obviously but the light is still on. Brake fluid level normal and brake system is in working order.Outside of a shortage, what could be the problem?

Thanks,

Steve Mullins

Fluid level may be normal, but you should check your pads....they may be low.

May be a bad sensor on the brake fluid cap as mine was.

Anyone figure this one out? I got the same problem just now... I'm thinking of switching out the brake to see if this fixes it...
