Mine is a Bulldog shock sensor...do a search on google and you'll find plenty of references for it.

Here's one...

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong....

Single Stage goes off when it senses a shock.

Dual Stage doesn't go off immediately. You can set the sensitivity of the sensor and it sets a threshold. So, if the car is hit, but not that hard.. it will set off a warning chirp. If it's hit hard enough to set off the second level of the sensor, then the alarm sounds.

To answer the original poster.... I bought mine from autotoys.com. It was around $11 and it works great. Not sure who makes it.. but I'm sure you can find it on there....

You can't wire a dual stage sensor without a separate siren.Dual stage sensor would chirp the siren on a 30% less impact as the initial setting and trip the alarm on the full a full impact. But there is no way to wire it,is there?I have a audiovox dual stage and had to wire it as a single stage.

this question may have been asked before, but is it possible to connect two shock sensors to the factory alarm. I'd like to put one near the HIDs and one inside the car.

Can a shock sensor be wired to the factory alarm? If so, is it easy or should a professional do it.

Supposedly it's easy.. but I had my dad's friend who does stereos do it. Took him 15 min. Check out this link for the directions:

chikai - I wouldn't see why not. I already have one in the front of my car... and i'm having one put in the trunk area too.. so the whole car is protected. I'm pretty sure you can just wire them in parallel or something.....
