Before and After?
ThinJim, I know I'm a noob around here but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how massively complex and meticulous the work you and whoever may have helped have done is. (I cannot imagine you need zero assistance on this project). I'm sure it'd take a team of engineers to come up with something this astonomical if it was a company. I guess you are the TEAM.. LOL
Oh and super props on keeping the Jseries motor, that legitimizes this whip as as CL no matter what anyone says now! and for anyone who does hate on you (i hope not) they're simply JEALOUS... lol prolly made it a 3.7L or something knowing you're limits (which there are none).
You're seriously pushing the envelope! and I aplaud you for your persistance and uncontested imagination.
Companies like Ferrari would be PISSED to know someone like yourself could take any car and DESTROY their 300-500K cars. HAHAH this thing is gonna make exotic cars look like rice rockets. You truely are the MAN.. Nice to see your SOMEHOW modest (with the fastest whip and superior knowledge, that is SUPER RARE)

Now.... there's NO WAY in hell ThinJim is going to tell ppl every single detail . You'd have to be crazy to throw 500days of your ingenuity, problem solving, fabing.. etc out on this forum for everyone to reep. SRRY (for everyone else) but I fully expect this whip to ONLY be truely known by the one and only ThinJim
Ask yourself this? would you toss all that hard work out there for everyone else, just to get thankyou's and possibly more MENTAL cl's.. I don't think so.. this thing is a jewl a 1 of 1.. He's protecting his BABY. So don't expect him to spill the beans on the whole thing. We're lucky enough we got the details we have as it is.

did i miss something? or maybe he didnt post it, but what engine is going into that? looks like a j series, like someone mentioned before. but then he said that it was for mock up.
Hes still running a J series I believe, but the block he used was for mock up, meaning just for a test fit. The other block was most likely being built at that time.
