I'm confused as well. This isn't the remains of the turbo 6mt is it? The wheels definitely aren't 03 wheels and it looks like the grill has chrome trim, not color matched as a 03 would have.

So are you going for RWD 6-spd CL? If so it's my perfect car. What kinda power are you thinking it's going to have when your done, stock, bolt ons, SC , turbo? Keep us updated, oh and when its done i want to take a ride in it, and if not possible, i expect many high quality vids. It's only fair after you've done this much work, no low quality youtube crap.

If he is going through all this work I'm pretty sure the car isn't going to see much (if any) road use and thus, I doubt it's going to simply have stock or bolt-on power.

Jim, are you putting the J32 sideways or you putting a different motor/tranny (LS7)?

A while ago I somehow stumbled across the thread just after you bought this car and mentioned its purpose was a RWD conversion...been looking for this thread about the process ever since...looking forward to following it. Good luck.

To build a chassis is specialized, so no, not a diy project. Lots of changes to be made and lots of fabrication. As for being reconizible as a CL, you betcha. don't let the car all chopped up fool you. The look should be pretty close to this members rendition/photochop of a CL in Pro trim when the key gets turned.
