It's looking good though. I look forward to seeing the HP output.

I haven't checked in on this thread since the first page. This is coming along very nicely. Can't wait to see the finished product.
Have you decided on a color yet?

Thinjim,
I saw your custom adjustable cam pulleys and I gotta tell you that is sick man! I bet those were pretty cheap among other things. The car is looking great. I can’t wait to see what kind of numbers you put down with that custom J-motor. It’s going to hurt knowing what this motor was capable of if the car was RWD and the aftermarket had fully exploited it.

Thanks all. I'm pretty excited about the quality of the body work and to see it in person is much better than pictures. We have to block it and then prime it with another 3 coats, then block and paint. More to come!
Yes, the cams gears among a few other key parts are the heart and soul of the motor.
and neither can I! Cheers!
Mods, thanks for cleaning this thread up!

The car is pretty much finished from a paint point of view. The painter will be showing it and another race car at a flea market at the turnpike and Sample Rd on Sunday December 7, in the Ft. Lauderdale area. He is doing this to drum up business as he has some tremendous skills that warrant showing his work. There is a pretty good car show that will take place there, usually upwards of 300 cars. Any south florida people interested in attending won't be disappointed. The car came out absolutely incredible. Cheers!!
I don't know if I missed it somewhere in this thread, but who is doing the fiberglass work? Did you make molds first? Those molds, if you have them, could be very valuable if a guy wanted to produce and sell after market fiberglass or carbon parts.
I do this with airplanes and a few rice burners.

BTW, ThinJim, you have all of my respect! You are a god!
And if you want to test it against a Vette, let me know. That's how I started my addiction to styrene fumes and fiberglass particles. '68 turbo 383.

Why is the engine turned 90 degrees from mine?
That looks great man! The Carbon Fiber looks killer! When you think you might have it all buttoned up and on the track or at least a dyno?
