On New Year's Day, I spanked my friend's 2002 Blue TLS from the line in NJ. Now he wants to get a CLS now! I can't wait to race him again. This time I'll have my intake, exhaust, chip, NOS, etc.... Maybe it was the baby seat in the back that was slowing him down....:P Play safe.

C'mon guys, don't diss the dreams and hope of a chip coming out!!! But i'm pretty sure some race shops will modify the ECU for now until a chip comes out.

Wait a minute, same engine, negligible weight difference and you spanled him. Do you have mods? This makes no sense.

 

No mods performance done on either car. My car still has the temp plates on them. I guess he doesn't know how to drive his TLS.

Pretty much the same performance figures. Unless he likes 2 doors, it make 0 sense for him to switch just because you said you beat him.

 

YES there is a CHIP out, JETCHIP makes them...

I have emailed them in the past, they recommend you making all the mods that you're gonna make, then they will program the chip and all to accept those mods and input the engine about them.
