I was on my way home from this New Years Party I went to at around 6:30 in the morning when I slowly pull up on this Cadillac Catera. I'm guessing it was about a 98 or so but anyway. We both came to a light and he looks over and slowly rolls up a little. I had my girl in the car with me and to my surprise she looks over at me and says BEAT HIS A$$. I wasn't exactly sure the guy wanted to race so I really didn't powerbrake or anything. The light goes green and the guy takes off. I gun the 3.0 and slowly start to gain in 1st. By second I was about half a car and going into third about 3/4 of a car, then we both shut down at about 75. We both slowed down and he acknowledged the loss with his highbeams, then went his way. I was pretty surprised, and my girl was too. I thought that the Catera would beat me, but I never doubt my baby for a minute.
