I hardly get any brakedust accumulating on my rims. My Land Rover would dirty-up my rims after 1/2 a day of driving, it's nice to not have to clean my Acura's rims as often!

Every few days I clean them with a damp rag, just to get the road dirt off.

Maybe 03s are special but my wheels quickly get full of brake dust with the OEM pads and stock wheels.
And the 03 stock wheels are a bitch to wipe off.

No problem, whatsoever. However, my 03 wheels are custom powder coated, and are essentially as smooth as glass.

Salt? clings like glue, but washes off just as easily.

I've got an 03 6spd and I've noticed that just wiping down the rims real quick every couple of weeks is enough to keep 'em clean.

Put some Zaino on those wheels Any dust/dirt that accumulates between washing comes off with ease with just soap and wheel brush.

Yeah,
Our accountant (at work) drives a Type S Jaguar and she hasn't cleaned it in about 9 months.

It is FILTHY. What a shame.

Her front and rear wheels are dark brown.

Isn't it because the factory pads are some of the harder compound ones you can find? And that also contributes to the rotors warping? I thought the TSB called for softer pads as replacements. .02

01 clp wheels are easy to clean, stainless steel coat, even rain washes them off. talk about low maintenance.

I dont have a ton of miles on my 03 CLS6 (~8k), but I have already noticed that the wheels stay pretty clean. And to whoever said the 03 wheels are a pita to clean, you never had a real multi-spoke wheel.

This is a good thing. Almost zero brake dust for me. 2003 CLS/6Speed. My wheels are very easy to clean.

Yeah, alot of girls don't like to clean their wheels. AND they don't rotate the tires so the front ones look horrible, while the rears don't look bad.
