Any 6-Speeders Replaced Their Shifter Bushings With Aftermarket?
I was wondering if any 6-speed owners here did the shifter cable mod, supposed to be a great bang for the buck mod. Basically you just replace your OEM shifter bushings with aftermarket - the RSX ones fit. I'm doing this mod and removing my CDD this week so hopefully this will improve the daily driveability of my CL-S.
Here is a picture of the aftermarket ones I'm using:

I can't imaging that the shifts will be all that much better. There's very little give from the stock bushings but it could help a little.
I thought there were still issues with the NS short shifter and the shifter hitting the boot with them installed? Have they updated the design?

WTF? I've searched a good number of threads on them and all I found was talk that they would be changing the design but nothing about them going through with it. I woulda installed one a long time ago.

I'm certain I posted years ago that mine were the new ones & have been fine.
Anything after the new ones I'd say were install error. You do have to drill a hole. Not everyone can.
