I have noticed so many 01 and 02 owners swapping out taillights to the 03 lenses. Personally, I've never grown to prefer the 03's.
Certain colors, IMHO, look much better with 01/02's; White, Black, Silver. Anyone agree with me?

I put the 03 tails on my silver 01 and they look much better. Now all i have to do is clear my headlights.

I'm not looking to switch. I have both styles. Just switched out to 01/02 on 03 ABP. Looks much better to me. However, keeping originals for the future when the car is sold.

i wonder if the half clear/half red tails came out first and the all red came out 2nd...would everybody like the all red better now? i myself prefer the 01 tails and i know its all opinion, but i think a lot of people want the 03's now just because its the "newest" version out.

I have thought the same thing. The half red design is preferred because it's newer, not because it looks better, IMHO.

Eh,... '01/02 tails are not "euro" spec in the sense that many countires require yellow/amber "rear" indicators. Though many countries which have such laws will allow cars to be driven with red signal indicators, they prefer yellow. I like yellow indicators as it provides a good "indicator."

the '03 white/red lights look better on my car IMO, otherwise the whole thing would be red.

I agree .. I like the all red tails better on the darker colors . .had them on my '02 black .. I think my '03 AGP would look better all red as well ..

I'm also not a huge fan of the white on top tails. I'd like to do the smoked deal on mine. The thing I do like about them is they accentuate the line across the trunk and they look a little smaller. When I see the '01 tails the look a bit large to me now. I would actually like to see what they look like with amber on top.

I like the red looks best on the lighter colors...the 03's look the best on ABP, NBP, SMR. IMO
