Another VSA Light question
Hello, been searching around forum for a similar case to mine but no luck. After driving car for about 20 or 30 miles in highway (my every day drive to work is 50 miles X 2) the VSA light and /!\ light turn on. Tranny is shifting perfect, take very good care of it (100K miles on it but change fluid every other oil change and inspect fluid for debris, never force it, new external filter). Does someone have information of any known issue relating to this?
My theory is the following: my front aligment is a bit off and that caused a very bad wear in front right tire (all tires were 235/45 R17) recently changed that tire for safety and provisionally installed a 225/45 (in great condition) to use while I get a GOOD aligment shop to correct problem. So... I am thinking that since one of the tires diameter is slightly shorter, one wheel is spinning faster and thus the control module is understanding as a stability problem (as if vehicle was slipping).... Is that too crazy?
My dashboard has the CEL light bulb burnt (there is no cat converter). Also, I use 91 octane fuel (95 octane price is going over $4.50 now!)... that has nothing to do with this right?
Car has no problems at all (besides the aligment thing), runs perfect, powerfull, efficient (fuel), no shaking, perfect idle, just did 100K miles maintenance last year, shifts perfect, no slipping in tranny at all.
Sorry for the long story, all help appreciated!

what could be a bad thing??? the vsa /!\ lights??? or having the CEL bulb burnt? I know both things are bad.... is there any reason in particular that anybody knows about that might be triggering the VSA /!\ light? it resets after car is parked but after 20 or 30 miles: lights up again (NO FLASHING - STEADY)
Is there something "very wrong" that might be going on?
Does my theory of one wheel turning faster than the other makes any sense?
Not sure when will I be able to take vehicle to specialist here and connect to scanner

Without getting the code read its really hard to know what to start looking around.
I've had different experiences with the CEL, VSA and /!\ Light on at the same time. My problems ranged from a misfire to the ABS unit failing and needing to be replaced.
If you can go to a Autozone, O'Reillys or similar, they let you use their OBDII scanner for free.

so an engine malfunction can trigger VSA /!\ light? interesting... was under impression that since the VSA system relates more to the "driving" side of bussiness (rather than to the "combustion" side)... thought that VSA could be triggered by something wrong with tranny, well: a faulty TPS sensor can trigger it (if throttle position does not coincide with actual speed your VSA will start acting up... but your shifting would also be all screwed up... which is not the case). If it was some kind of mis fire, I would feel it (car is smoooooth). I live in Panama (Central America)... there is no Autozone or anything like it here. There is the Honda dealership who does not like me (they don't sell Acuras here) or a Honda "specialist" guy that I do not trust much but at least has the scanner and works on similar vehicles (accords, odyseys, pilots, etc...)
If someone can share some knowledge before I take it to the so called "specialist" here... it will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
