air filter question.

air filter question.

i was looking to replace my air filter but i cant seem to find it. i tried pepboys, autozone, and kragen, i have 01 acura cls and is it this hard to find an air filter for my car?

Ok, then, Like others said, get a K&N Drop in, or just upgrade to an aftermarket air intake (Comptech, AEM, Injen)

autozone and pepboys have them. Fram or Puralator. Go to www.pureoil.com of fram.com and look up the model number that will fit your car. Also you can get it from your Acura dealer ~20$... not a big difference with autozone.

Lately there have been a lot of research and opinion suggesting racing type filters like K&N, etc. let in too much grit. And I even had a K&N drop-in ready to go, but after what I've read, I'm sticking with the stock air filter...

I just got one today at Napa Part # 2023. For 2002 CL-S
It took them several hours to get it on a special order.
No one else had it locally except the dealer $$
