aftermarket spoiler

I wanted to get a spoiler for my 01 CL-S. I was looking through
E-bayand came across one from Spoilerdept.com. They say its already painted and easy to install. Any one ever installed their own spoiler? Was wondering how difficult it was, I'm a little nervous about having to drill into the trunk

I have a '01 CL that I put a Sportwing.com spoiler on last April (a year ago Sunday, actually). I was worried about paint matching issues, and Spoilerdepot.com was not very cooperative in that respect (wouldn't refund my money if I ordered it and it didn't match). Sportwing.com said I could send it back for a full refund if it didn't match. I ordered it from them for less than spoilerdepot.com, got it LIGHTINING QUICK, fit perfectly, color matched perfectly, looks awesome. I should also note that there is not ONE paint chip. I would heartily reccomend you order from them. Amirsafdari also had one on his CL and loved it as well.

I got mine from them through ebay. With a drill and patience, should be a piece of cake. There should be holes in the bottom of your trunk that lines up where you should drill. Unless someone on the board has another method, the drill is inevitable.

I bought a Spoilerdepot spoiler; very high quality and pretty easy to install and hook up wires. Paint was a perfect match. Only cost about 160.00 over ebay. My dealer charges 800-900 for these things. I'm not terribly mechanical and the installation was so easy and quality so good that I got another one for my daughter's Honda Civic EX. You wont be disappointed. Go to the instructions section of this web site for very helpful directions on how to install as the spoiler comes with little in the way of specifics for the CL.

Get the M5 lip spoiler. Easier to install, cheaper, and looks better in my opinion.

unless you buy factory spoiler, do not use reference marks under trunk lid!! use the plastic guides that come with the spoiler!!
not saying all aftermarket spoilers, but mine didn't line up with factory hole placement..

I bought one from spoilerdepot.com for our 03 Altima and the color matched perfectly. Sonoma Sunset is a tough color to match.

www.c-c-c.net should have both the M3 and M5 lip spoiler. I think for the CL the M5 lip spoiler is sposed to fit better while the M3 one fits better on the TL.

The M5 Spoiler fits best on both the CL and TL.

The M3 Spoiler is for the TSX.

Buy from www.c-c-c.net or try eBay.
