1000 dollars

I just got a small bonus of 1000 bucks, so I need to spend it on my car finally...here's what I'm thinking but I'm still not sure:

1. Sways + CAI + Springs (handling, performance and looks - a little of everything)
2. Amp + Subwoofer (need bass!)
3. Rims + Toyos/Nittos (plus maybe 300-400 bucks extra to pay for this) (looks and handling, performance if lighter than stock)
4. Sways + Toyos/Nittos (handling only)

I want to do them all, but which would you do first?

UGH! Can't decide, help!

DACAT...personally...id go with #1.
Get the sways, springs, and the CAI.
Wear out the shit rubbers, and get TOYOS later. I think thats the best overall thing.
Unless you like the performance now...which i thought was great when I first got my car....then upgrade your stereo.
But performance, get the Sways/Springs/CAI package. Just my 2 cents

don't waste it on your car. ( unless you apply it towards principle reduction on your car note, assuming you have one ) invest invest invest. Someday you will really NEED that grand for something, and you will be glad you have it.

I would get it on Sways, SPrings, Upper Strut bar. And depending on whether or not your installation charges or extreme, or if you plan to do anything yourself, such as the sways and strut bar for install, you can still get the CAI and install yourself or the denso Iridium Spark plugs and install themyourself! I personaly dont want to change my tires until i get new rims since i only have 16's but in your case, if you plan on getting new rims in the future that can fit the same tires, then I guess tires are a possibility, but i agree with Nirvanaib in wearing out the stock tires first, or at least half way.

Thanks a lot guys, judging from the votes so far, most people would change the handling first. I didn't mention "headers" because right now, I want handling more!

Okay, it's sways for sure. Probably best 300 bucks to spend.

Springs: I want them, but still can't decide between Eibach, HR, or Comptech. I want the level drop (not raked), plus dropping the car might limit my rim options later, so right now...pass

Tires: Yes, I'm tired of all the squealing like a stuck pig. If I get sways, I have a feeling my tires would squeal even more cuz they can't take it? (Don't know)

CAI: Only 200 bucks, tough to pass up! Have to read up more on these and which one to choose...

Strut Bar: Good suggestion! If this is cheap, then I can probably get Sways, Tires, and Strut Bar, an even better handling combination. Any suggestions? Anyone install one themselves?

Invest: Nah, I've been investing in tons of stuff, all losing money! Besides, I haven't spent anything on the car yet (except a V1 and PIAA's), I think it's time to splurge!

Rims: I want new ones so bad, but the rims I want are all expensive (I want good looking but light of course), damn! But eventually, I will have rims, (oh yes, it will be mine)

Amp + Sub: I can suffer without bass a bit for now...I'm deaf anyway from my last car!

Sways, tires, strut bar, I like it!
Maybe I can squeeze in the CAI if I can get the tires cheap enough, oh man I hope so...

Install on the strut bar is easy as hell. Takes literallylike 5-10 mins. Just need a socket wrench and you are good. 4 nuts overall. And i did notice that when i added the sways, it put a hell of a lot more stress on the tires so you would need new tires, however, I would get the springs over the tires because right now im in that situation and the handling is wonderful. My next step is new rims/tires when i get themoney. But as far as handling upgrades, i love having teh sways/strut/springs all working together.
