I was wondering if anyone has put the 03 side mirrors on an 01 CL and how much are the mirrors itself??

 

Not sure but have you seen the new TSX mirrors??? I wonder if they'd fit on our CL's...they have turn/side markers on them...

 

I'll check out the tsx mirrors. But you probably have todo some extra wiring since it has turn markers.

 

I cant say anything about actualy doing it/the cost or whatever, but there actualy the 02 mirrors, not the 03 mirrors

 

I Know they are the 02 mirrors but most people dont notice them on an 02.

 

yeah, I did the conversion. i paid like $350 for the set. acuraautomotiveparts.org. you have to call them as the parts are not listed on their website.

easy install. Very glad i forked out the money.

You buy the whole unit at once, not pieced together.

whats the diff between 01 and 03 mirrors..isnt the 03 all painted and the 01 where the swivl part is is just black??

 

The shape of the mirror is different and the 03 has the blue tint in the mirror. Also the swivel part is painted. Its not much of a different but its something I wan todo.

i asked for the 02's. yeah, it came with the blue tinted glass.

 

How much wiring is involved w/ the install? Is there any splicing or is there a socket that it plugs into?

 

two plugs, very simple. Took me 30 mins tops. I brought my camera to document the mod but it was going so fast there was no point to stop and take a pic.

03's have considerably less wind noise. They are a very different design.

Any word on the TSX mirrors? I'm also considering replacing my 01's, but if TSX could fit, I would like to try that.

I don't expect that to work, easily. You'd have an easier chance at getting an aftermarket AV6 mirror on there.
