Windshield Washer Not Working!

Hi,

My Winsdshield Washer Fluid sprays intermittently. Sometimes it will spray and sometimes it won't. I might get lucky and it'll spray out once or twice and then it won't spray until the next time I start the car. I don't think the nozzles are clogged. The fluid is there. Any ideas on what might be causing the problem? It's an 04 TSX with 90k on it.

Trace the line back to the pump, meaning, remove line from each nozzle and see if you get pressure when you use the sprayers. Work your way back until you do find pressure, then you've located a blockage or a kink. If you never get pressure all the way back to the pump, then its the pump or the pump relay.

that happen to me once but i found out that the fuse blew, if you want you can try changing the fuse and see if the washer works or not, or yeah try seeing if its clogged or anything like that first

id check the tubes running to your sprayers. often times on older vehicles they simply become clogged from dirt, cant imagine that on a newer car though. try getting fluid out by vacuum too after removing hoses from squirters. good luck!

With the key in the "on" position but without the engine or HVAC running, see if you can hear the pump motor running when you pull the lever. It's not particularly quiet so it shouldn't be hard. If you don't hear anything check the fuse. If that's fine there's a problem either with the pump itself or the wiring. If you've got the mechanical aptitude you can proceed diagnosing the issue there. If you don't know how to do that, you should take it somewhere and have it checked as it's not the kind of thing that can be easily pulled off without really knowing what you're doing.
