dip stick question

dip stick question

well my question is madd simple...im trying to do drain my tranny like soon cuz i went to do my oil change n they said it needs to get done, well i kno i have to drain it all from the bottom but i dont seem to find where the heck i can put it back in..so can i just get a tube or something n start putting some tranny oil through there? ( DIP STICK, that yellow thing )..like no problems?

Yes, you can use a funnel with a tube and add the ATF down the dipstick opening.

Yeah but just make sure you don't overfill and you use the Genuine Honda ATF. I forget what the speciality of Honda ATF, but I seem to remember something about friction and all that. About 3.0 qt if it's a simple spill & fill.

Also, with Honda you can check the level with the engine off.

thAnks guys well correct me if I'm wrong so drain n fill it with 3qts then drive the car for few mins then drain Again n fill oh and is also best 2 buy that ring round thing that goes in between the drain bolt right? thanks again

FYI, 2 drain/fill cycles replaces around 65% of the ATF while 3 drain/fill cycles replaces around 85%.

Do you meant the washer? If so yes, always replace those when changing fluids. They are one time use items.
