Window problem - what did I break?

Hi guys!

I have an 07 TSX, and I'm wondering if I may have broken my driver's side window tonight. Anyway, it's currently 2 degrees here, and I ended up trying to roll down my window after the car had been running for a good 10-15 minutes. However, the window was still frozen, and I could hear the motor trying to roll it down, then I heard a loud "POP" sound.

Since it's so cold out, I'm hesitant to roll it down in fear of not being able to roll it back up...I guess my question is, what did I most likely break? The window regulator? If so, how expensive are they to replace?

Lastly, are the power windows on the TSX a weak point? Has anyone else tried to roll down a window that was frozen (and you didn't know it) and it wouldn't roll down? If so, did it break anything or cause issues with your power windows later on?

Thanks much!

probably not. 2F is like -16C, i suspect there was some ice build up around the windows area, usually outside around sill. the ice stick to the window and sill, and when it make a log pop sound when they separate by power windows. you can spray de-icer around the windows (outside) and wait a few minutes then try open it again.
we had some snow and really cold weather last week, the windows was still frozen after 20 minutes of driving.

It was ice. You can't really burn the motor except if you are doing this twice a day.....

The motor can only stop turning because it doesn't have enough power to open the window.
