Why is my TSX leaking oil?

I keep seeing oil spots on my garage floor, so is this normal that the TSX leaks oil or something? I got my 60K service at the end of June, so a month ago. I just put a newspaper under the car and see if it is still leaking. If it is what is the main culprit of this? Do I need to worry?

there are not any common weak points on that engine that cause leaks, check oil drain plug/oil filter area and front motor mount for possible sources.

can you tell what color the leaking fluid is?

and no, it's not normal for a tsx, or any car for that matter, to be leaking oil.

I'm guessing it's the drain plug.
or the oil filter.

from a poor quality oil change.
take it to a different dealer, tell them you've
had problems with past service depts and have them
check the quality of the seal on the filter and plug.

maybe they cheaped out and didn't put a new washer
thingy on with the plug....?

over tightened oil filter. I know that can be a cause of an oil leak, or oil seep in your case.

I have the same problem. The car was sitting in the garage for about 7 months, then when I started driving for a couple days, I noticed a few drops on my driveway. Could it be a dried up gasket due to the engine not being turned on for such a long period of time?

Most likely. I'd change the oil and filter (and it sounds like you just started it after sitting for 7 months. Hope you didn't do any damage). Oh, and what were you in for?
