Warped rotor, will it because of my rims?

I just found out my rotor is warped. My rims are slightly bent, so will it be the reason? should I put the oem wheels back before bring it back to dealer? if yes, it will be a lot of work since my oem rim are on winter tire now!

How do you know your rotors are warped? Your bent rims might be causing wheel vibration.

providing that your rotor is warped and vibration is not from the rim. then nope. your warped rotor should has nothing to do with ur bent rim. Acura/honda rotors are known to warp. just get it resurfaced at any service station then u are good as new.

When I braking on high speed, the brake padel and the car are all shaking, so I know my rotor is wrapped. When I running my car on highway speed and my steering wheel is vibrating than it is my rim bent or wheel is out of balance. But I am sure my rims are slightly bent because I bought it used and have it proof it is bent from the wheel balancing machine.

might as well get them replaced .....u can only resurface a rotor once and that decreases the life of the rotor....the next time it warps u can't resurface again....so just get it replaced if itz under warranty

If you get vibration while driving, then it is the rims. If you get is just while braking, then it is the rotors. If there is an associated squeek while driving, then you could also have gotten the wheel bearing.

Our rotors suck. My are major warped, but I'm waiting to replace with a special set... soon to be documented here.

i would put the stockers back on. they can blame that when the aftermarket wheels were put on, that they overtorqued the nuts which can cause the rotors to warp.

oh yeah, btw take your rims off before going to the dealer, the mechanic working on your car would be much happier!!

put your stocks back on and see if it still vibrates. if not, then its not the rotors.
