TSX window problems

Ok folks, I'm having trouble with my tsx. I just had a guy try to replace the passenger door lock regulator, he took the door apart and saw it was too much and said he wouldn't do it. Next thing I know is the window will go down from the driver control, but not up...also no controls from the passenger side. I have since repaired the lock mechanism, but I cannot figure out the window. My window is all the way down and I cannot get it back up. Any suggestions or ideas of what parts I might need are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

The passenger window switch is connected? Check to make sure the wires are attached to the socket. Sometimes they can be accidentally pulled out of the socket while taking things apart.

Yes I've checked all connections and they appear to be good. I haven't tried reversing the polarities to get the window back up, but perhaps I should check that first, otherwise I suspect something went wrong in the motor.

Do you hear the power window motor click when trying to roll it up from the working switch? If so, the motor may be bad and you might be able to get it back up by tapping the motor with a wrench. With the switch on the passenger side, you could swap with a working one from the rear to confirm the switch is bad.

Switch

Well, found the culprit. Apparently the white contact piece within the switch has "disappeared" and the guy who originally took the door apart isn't taking credit for his "work". Oh well, window is up and I'll be making a trip to the local salvage yard this week to replace the switch. Thanks for all the help! I'm sure I'll be on this site often.. as I feel like I'm always fixing something on the wife's car!
