Squeak Suspension, should I be worried?

Here's my setup

Buddy Club N+
Cusco Type 1 Lower
Cusco Tower
Progress RSB

Right now there's two types of squeaking sounds coming from the front passenger side coilover (I believe it's the coilover).

Upon a visual inspection, nothing seemed out of place, I will try to tighten all the bolts down again.

The first sound happened only a few weeks ago and is reoccuring. Everytime I hit a bump I get a squeak. I'd assume it's from normal wear of the coilovers due to my friends Teins having an issue like it before. I was hoping it's not the case.

Secondly it's making a very light resonating squeak. Sort of like when you adjust your coilovers when the spring compresses it makes that hollow resonating sqeak.

Any input would be great....

Referring back to this question...

I washed my car with a power blaster down in champaign and focused on spraying down the front passenger coilover. The squeaking went away for the most part, it was slightly audible.

However after my car ride back up to Chicago the it came back again.

It tends to be really loud and sensitive when making a left, and while making a right it doesn't squeak.

I want to know if this is a coilover or bushing issue, and if there's any way to get rid of this.

I have the same coilover setup. Only my rears squeak when I go up and down ramps and speed bumps. I sprayed it with some lube 1-2 months back. It was all quiet and now it's kind of coming back.

How much of the strut is above the bottom of your spring in the rear? I'm getting a lot of noise going over bumps. When I first installed it, I compressed the spring too much by raising it so when I went over bumps, the spring would compress all the way and create a "thump" noise. I adjusted it and gave the spring more travel by raising the strut , now I think the top of the strut hits the upper mount.

Same here. Though I have Tein's. I'm living with it, but its annoying.

And Marcus (Mr. Heeltoe) said it might be the lower control arms, but the squeaking is coming from the top of the coilover tower, up inside the wheel well.

I just called Buddy Club and they told me to reinstall my coilover (doesn't really make sense considering it didn't start until this winter).

He also said the coilover might be damaged due to hitting speedbumps / potholes too hard.

He told me to check for any oil leaking out of the shock... I know for a fact I've hit some pretty hard bumps in the past due to not slowing down fast enough or just plain not seeing it. I'm hoping there's no damage to the shock.

set up: h&r coilover, comptech rsb, ingalls rear camber kit, oem wheels.

funny thing, i've been noticing the squeaking from the front passenger, and until lately, the rears, only after installing my new tires.

could it be the 225/45/17 tires i've installed (i.e. lower profile)?...

Are the tires quieter? Could it be you just couldn't hear it over the noise before and now you can?

noise difference between oem michelins and my summers are, i think, negligible.

however, it is a potential factor. i will keep it at the back of my mind when i try to do an inspection.
