Spirited driving tonight = close call!
Spirited driving tonight = close call!
I went out driving tonight with JK5one (in my car) and I went down a windy road. Short story even shorter, I took a turn too fast and drove off the road a little. I didn't hit anything and my alignment is okay.
The problem is that a bunch of little twigs hit my car and left scuffs along the drivers side. It didn't go through my paint, but the clearcoat might be scuffed.
My question is, will it be possible to remove them using a buffer? It would be great to figure out how to remove it (if it's possible).

I had a situation like that that scared the hell out of me. I just got off work (I worked for a lawn company over the summer) and I still didn't completely have my hearing back so my speed perception was a little off. There's this shorcut that involves taking a 120 degree turn (as in back) and there was a car coming. I didn't want to wait so I took it and I didn't really slow down from what I guess was about 65mph. About halfway into trying to hit the apex I heard my tires starting to squeal and realized I was heavily understeering. I braked hard and managed to recover with only my right side going off a little. Went back the next day and I could see my tire tracks on the road. That's why I need some summer tires. It was still fun though.
on the note of chips I washed my car today and found a bunch of small ones on my hood that have come up since my last wash a week ago. Really small, but annoys me. Is there anything to do? they're to small for a paint pen.

+1
Where's the pics?
On another note: Never drive over your head or try to drive someone elses pace, that will only get you into trouble. Always drive the pace you're comfortable at and if your ass puckers up, that means to slow it down.
Save the fast stuff for the track.
