Did i mess up my car?
my dad put my car on cruise control going on a road trip,i was wondering if that messed up my timing ohh and i also went over 60 the first day i got it..... blaaa *stupid me* but is there anyway i could fix it because i cant feel vtec at all whenever i hit it

do0ooo0d, dont use cruise until the break in period is over! When an engine is new it has to be broken in and if you maintain a constant speed for any length of time before the engine is broken in, you could shorten the life of the engine. What happens is that the cyliders may get a groove and not wear evenly or something like that.
Going over 60 should not hurt it but take it easy at first.
The cars performance will increase over time. you will get better performance at 30K miles than for the first 15k miles. That is just the way it is.
