Should I have wrinkled seat cover replaced?
The left side bolster on the driver’s seat of my 04 TSX is wrinkled/creased. The rest of the seat, including the right side bolster, is in much better shape. After some discussion, the dealer has agreed to replace the seat cover under warranty. I am somewhat hesitant, since I have read other posts were damage was done removing and replacing the seat cover. I suspect a new seat cover may wrinkle again, since I bend the side down when entering and exiting the car. Does anybody know if the seat has to be removed from the car to replace the cover, and whether a new cover is likely to also wrinkle?

I had my cover replaced under warranty because of the blue stain on the seam. They did a fine job, no collateral damage. I don't know if they had to remove the seats just to replace the cover. Mine was removed because I also had the sliding seat problem so they had to replace the rails as well.

Isn't this an "everyday wear and tear" thing? I don't understand how this can be a warranty issue.
I have them in my '06, but I just condition seats on a regular basis and it helps

Seat covers are over $500 each just for the bottom cushion. I had mine replaced for the blue marker crap too, and the replacement looked almost worse. It was a lighter color and wasn't pulled tight onto the seat so it looks kind of wrinkly. So... all this is to say that a new seat cover might not be all you think it will be.
