removal of interior lights

how do you remove the plastic piece that has the sunglass holder and the homelink?? i know that there are 2 black bolts under the sunglass holder but the bottom half still feels very secure.

do i just pull it off or is there another screw that i have to unscrew.

thanks
Bryan

This is exactly the info I'm looking for, too. In my 200SX SE-R I just tucked it into the headliner and ran it behind the pillar to the fuse box, but with the airbag stuff I am afraid to try that on my new TSX.

I did find this:

There is already wire running down the side. You can just run it parallel with that wiring. Just zip tie or tape it up. It's pretty easy. Also, to remove the a pillar, just use a butter knife to get underneath the SRS clip and pop it up. Then just slide it out and up.

If you have Valentine1, Beltronics, or Escort you might be able to use this:

I found it on this thread:

I'm going to try this.

Homelink power circuit is hot at all times, as are the lights in the overhead console.

As mentioned above, hot with key "on" is available at the auto day/night mirror wire harness
