I went ahead and installed the bushings and brackets with grease zerks, and I use a good chassis grease. No more squeeks and groans when it gets cold and, when they need lubrication, it takes two minutes instead of 45.

I use the Acura Silicone Spray I bought from the dealership when my suspension gets squeaky...I just directly spray it onto the bushings.

White Lithium Grease is the important part.

Yes, they are Energy Suspension parts I happened upon at Autozone. Damn me, I didn't keep the packaging and forget the part number. I might have the receipt still. They're the red-urethane bushings, sized to 22mm (the o.d. of the Comptech swaybar). In order to get the holes to line up took a little filing of the bushing brackets but they lined up ok with some persuasion. Now all it takes is one quick squirt of grease on each zerk once/twice each year.

So I should be using white lithium grease instead of standard hi-temp chassis grease?

I had the same bushings on my civic. I believe that with the bushings they recommended the white lithium grease. it was those or the ST rear sway bar that I added that recommended the white lithium grease.

Bah, who needs lube...stock RSB doesn't have it. My comptech RSB doesn't have any lube, and I don't hear anything. Your lube's probably attracting dirt ;-P

On the other hand, I lubed one of my accord's RSB when I installed it over 5 or 6 years ago, and it doesn't make any sounds either. So I have experience with no noise whatsoever with both no lube and with a one-time lube.

I had the ST sway bar, so I think this is probably what I used...

SoCaliTrojan - I wonder if you haven't experienced any squeeking since your in cali? here in MO/KS after winter I usually hear the bushings starting to make noise. I don't know if it's the cold temperature, snow, salt, or what. but I on the civic I had to lube the bushings 1-2 times a year.

This is a link to the bushings I bought (not at Amazon, but you can get them in probably 100 places).

so you just spray it around your bushings and it's good to go?? no need to take it off and put it back on?

White lithium (thick not spray) grease has worked perfectly for me.

i just spray the bushings with brackets on with silicon sprays, i didn't bother taking them off and it worked, no more squeaks after that.
BTW i have the non-greasable version of energy bushings.

I use high temperature lithium grease (grey stuff). It's more persistent than white lithium.
