Parking break light?

My parking break light keeps coming on randomly when I’m driving I haven’t taken my TSX to the dealer yet but I was just curious if this has happened to anyone and if its a quick fix.

It could be the break fluid being low but I don’t know about new breaks I just replaced the rears a couple of months ago and the fronts about a year ago. The light only turns on when I’m breaking to a complete stop I wonder if the parking break needs to be adjusted in some sort of way

I think you're off.
I doubt it's your parking brake.

that is NOT a parking brake light.
it's for all of the brake system, not just the parking brake.

I would first guess something is wrong with fluid.
On my list of things to check, personally, the parking brake would
be near the end of it.

check your fluid levels first.

pp 63, 334 (2007 OM). This is not an annoyance ... you want to check this out fast, for safety reasons.

Its not break, its BRAKE!

As the fluid in the reservoir drops there is a float inside that drops and when it gets to a certain point the light goes on. Fluid sloshing around moving the float up and down would make this consistent with the light going on and off.

The fluid is low. Check under the hood. It takes two seconds. Prove me wrong.

You could be right I checked and the brake fluid its just above the minimum line I didn't have any on hand but it does make sense since it only turns on when I’m braking and then it turns off once I’m standing still.

Honda has DOT 4? I thought it was DOT 3.

Get this one! Check the front brakes tho...usually the fluid drops when the brakes get worn down.

Finnaly I think I fix both the issues with the brake light coming on when I came to a dead stop and my VSA /!\ light. I wanted to cover all bases I got some brake fluid and a brake switch very simple It looks like it works but that was since friday so I got to keep my eye on those lights to make sure they don't come on any more
