Hi all,

I bought my TSX at the end of June, and have had many problems with it. It had to go in the shop the first week for a new driver's seat track because it had a jerking motion when moved. It wasn't fixed the first time so I brought it back a second time and they replaced the seat track itself. Now the seat does the same thing it did the fisrt time, and the only time the seat is moved is when it goes to the dealership.

Then at about 3000 miles the brakes started to shutter, after fighting with Acura, they replaced the brake pads and rotors on the car at 6000 miles. They are ok now

Then all 4 of the windows made a funny noise going up and down, so they replaced all 4 window regulators, now the windows make a loud motor noise. When I got the car back the first night the "AUTO" up\down on the driver's window didn't work. Now is does magically.

The rear armrest had to be fixed because every time someone was in the back seat the armrest would disconnect from the seat. They had to fix that.

The navigation system seems to loose track of where it is, and takes sometime to get back to normal. When I was in Atlantic City, the nav said we were driving over water. Plus the unit freezes and the car has to be shut off to reset it.

They gave me a Tsx Auto to drive as the loaner car. The loaner drives much better than my car does, and it has 4k miles, while mine has 11k miles.

The temperature guage is always wrong, to the point I don't even look at it anymore because it could be 2 degrees off one day, and 10 degrees off another day.

And last but not least....the rattles, they are all over the place, new ones come and go on a daily basis. At this point I don't know what to do. I have owned nothing but Honda's my entire life and the TSX has been in the shop more than my others combined. I am a loyal Honda and don't want to change cars but I feel helpless!!!!! HELP!!!!!!thanks

Welcome to the board helmrock. Unfortunately there's not much anyone here can do. Many here have seen the same problems and have slowly had the dealer or at least tried to have the dealer fix them. Thats all you really can do, unless Honda releases a recall or repair notice.

I've had the same seat problem as you and they did the same thing to fix it. My seat is alot better now but the problem still remains. I'll have it looked at again next Saturday. All I can suggest is check back here often for info and news on what people have done.

 

It sounds like your car is a ripe candidate for full replacement under the lemon law. California has a pretty good lemon law. I don't know what lemon laws you have in New Jersey but if you can document all the things wrong with it and how often you've had them looked at with no success then you should look into it. Also, try the Acura customer service number. You bought a new car and are entitled to reasonably trouble free operation. If the dealer can't fix it then Acura should replace it.

As for it being 2 off one day and 10 the next, how are you getting such exacting temperature measurements to compare it to? You can't go by just a radio report or a bank sign.
