Knocking noise when braking
Knocking noise when braking
I have a 2004 TSX with an automatic transmission. I have 103,000 miles on it and recently put on new rear brake pads.
About 5,000 miles after putting on the new pads, a knocking noise started when I am stopping the car. This sound only happens when I am stopping the car and doesn't happen when just slowing down on the highway or any other braking. So I can only hear it probably below 15 mph.
The noise is a nocking noise, coming from the back of the car. The knocking is fast at first, but slows as the car slows down. It is definitely coming from the back of the car.
Any ideas on what this could be?
