the back light for my AC and STEREO button are all gone, realized it when driving at night couple days ago.. the ac and stereo display is still there, just all the backlight for bottons are all dead, i cant see where im pressing now. THank god it's still under warranty, but anyone know what might have caused it and how difficult/long it takes to fix? thanks....

I just took my 04 in for this problem.
Took it to the dealer with 49,500 miles and it was fixed free of charge under warranty. They even provided me with a new acura rental for the day

 

It's a common problem with 2004 TSX's. In order to fix the problem, the entire unit has to be replaced. It took my dealer about a day to fix the problem and it hasn't come back since.

get it fixed, under no circumstances take no for an answer. i got mine done under warranty at 72k miles (although it was done 2x already since i've owned the car)
