Urgent response required... Aftermarket foglight installation issue.

I purchased an aftermarket set of foglights from k2motor on ebay, and I'm having difficultly locating the proper 3-pin connector which is supposed to be blue taped onto the vehicle harness.

Apparently I need to connect the foglight 3-pin connector to this 3-pin connector attached to the vehicle harness, but I can't find such a 3-pin connector. Instead, I found what looks like a 2-pin connector blue taped onto the vehicle harness.

Anyone have any ideas what to do?

do a search.. the wires from ebay kits are not plug and play
the foglights and bezel fits the front bumper no problem.. just ghetto rig the wire and switch/relay

How much they charge you to finish it up?

Uh the shop charged me about $200 for parts and labor. I would have done it myself, but I don't have any electrical knowledge. anyways...I like them now just a little too expensive for my taste.

Well I hunted around and found this thread on tsxclub.com

Apparently this member posted detail install instructions for these ebay kits, and I now am pretty sure that I just need to remove the 3-pin adapter from my harness and extend it through the firewall.

At this point I wouldn't say the ebay kits are total garbage, just misrepresented and hence more difficult to install.

you got it right.....you just extend that green wire to inside the cabin and conect it to the matching green wire on the harness that is on the inside of the car. just cut the connectors off. everything else should just plug up and work fine....it took me way to long to figure this out but it does work.

Yea, I finished the install completely last Sunday. Let me say, it was far from the "plug and play" that k2motor had assured me it was. I caution anyone that wants to purchase aftermarket fogs since these kits require a good deal of work to get going.
