Mugen Grill

Looking at the Mugen Grills......

One has the Mugen symbol in the middle of the grill and some do not.....

Is this something that you have to ask for? I like it with out the symbol, just the open grill.

For Mugen grill owners, did you take that off, or did you ask to have it included?

Thanks.

The real Mugen grille will come with the Mugen emblem, a lot of us took it off (I did and you can find pics where I had the mugen emblem, nothing, a front "A", and the Euro-R emblem)

There are a lot of knock offs though. So I would be careful buying one without the Mugen emblem on it.

That pic is the Mugen front bumper, not the replacement grill.

"the strip on top of the grill is still chrome.....does any one know if that can be painted the same as the body color"

I wouldn't recommend painting it, if you go to boomplustoys.net, they sell the strip in all the tsx colors

if i buy the grill from kingmotorsports.com, it comes with the center emblem, as stated. But the factory chrome strip at the top....that would still be there right? Noticing the photot above is chopped to show what it would look like without the chrome.

you can buy the jdm hood trim which is painted to match the body color. you can buy them prepainted and shipped for about 55-60USD which is cheaper than getting the factory one painted.

yeah i figured as much....but i actually like the look of the chrome piece on the top. I guess my Question is that if i DONT change anything, that chrome piece will still be there, right?
