Mugen Grill?

I just installed the Mugen grill on my sisters TSX. Looking down at the grill, from the black cover to the grill, the hole do not line up. The top of the grill and the bottom of the plastic also does not meet. Do I need another part? Am I missing something?

They discussed the mugen grill here in this thread:

Sounds like the holes don't line up 100% and you have to zip tie the bottom to the bumper.

Might want to PM sombody from that thread for specifics.

Ahhh... that must be it. Why wouldn't King Motorsport know this? I called them and they said they've never had any calls about it not lining up w/ the stock parts.

Where do I get the euro r cover?

from BPT or PPP, its a waste though. Just ghetto rig or drill into the stock cover.

its not a waste, mugen even give you little plastic parts to make it an almost perfect fit and when you open the hood everything looks OEM whcih is the way its supposed to look, no ghetto rigged and zip tied.

I have the cover, other people have it to and have said its a waste of $30 if you think like the cover great, I didn't think it looked any better.

my biggest problem is the gap inbetween the cover and the grill, specifically where the hood release goes. On the grill, it bends down for the release, but the cover doesn't meet up w/ it at all, instead it rides 1" above, making it hard to get your fingers in there to lift the hood.

You have to ditch that black cover man. If you want one you will need the JDM radiator cover not the USDM. Sorry to tell you. do a search and you will see all of us that have the Mugen grill have the same problem and are either doing with out the black cover or have bought the JDM piece.
