Does anyone here know if the new TSX grille is interchangeable with the TL grille?

The TL is brushed aluminum and the TSX is chrome. But, they look to be the same size when right next to each other.

If it fits, I'm thinking about a swap for chrome on my TL.

This is a no-flame zone!

 

It has been done but I don't think they ever said how much work was involved. I believe the member was overseas.

Mmm. I think Acura is too wise to have two different grilles that are "almost" the same size if they could cut costs for tooling, etc. by having one size that fits both but with different finishes and inserts.

I'll work on some photo comparisons......

 

 

idk, it looks close but acura might just do it cuz it fits and doesnt expect to ever have a need to interchange them. thats probably why u dont see options on this

Unfortunately the pics and his homepage aren't working any more. He actually didn't change grilles, he just cut the middle bar from the TL and stuck it in the TSX grille.

 

i bet the 06 model refresh of the TSX will have the TL-style grilles

 

i like tsx grill better...

 

I dont know the anwser but there have been a few threads with this asked and people say they are looking into it but noone ever anwsers the question.

 

i like how the TL isnt "chromed" its just a brushed aluminum look
