What RPM do you shift at?
#2
4k to 4.5k
Generally, I try to keep the revs above 3k to ensure that my car has enough power....
Though, when im in a bad mood, I shift at 6.5k.
Granted, I shift at 6.5k when im in a good mood too!

Shifting from 1>2 : 5000 rmps (ensures I take off flying in 2nd)
Shifting from anything else>anything else 3500 to 4000
Unless I'm driving up an on-ramp in which case I shift around 6500 rpms through 3rd gear and then usually go to 5th and then to 6th
don't listen to me though, I've only been driving stick for 2 months

I was shifting between 2.5-3.5k during my first 3 weeks, now I shift between 3-4k like ebch.
I did redline it a few times, but that was just to feel the iVtec kick in. I can't afford the gas, considering we Canadians pay more then our friends South of the border.

You can buy Tylenol-Codiene over-the-counter. (It's prescription here in the US to keep prices high.) Eh!
Eh! I haven't checked the prices of beer, moose meat, or ground polar bear chuck lately, but it should be cheaper in Canada too, eh!
Did anyone figure out if the price of the TSX is cheaper in Canada? I know that several makes of cars are a good deal cheaper in Canada. Many Yanks go up there to buy their cars, as long as they don't care about warranty coverage.

I typically shift around 3500 rpm, but it depends on what I'm trying to do. If I'm trying to merge onto a highway -- and do it quickly -- I probably shift at 4500 rpm.
I'm used to a V6, so the engine sounds kinda loud to me in the high 3000s. Once I get used to that, I'll probably be more comfortable waiting to shift until reaching higher revs.
Having said all of that, I shift when it feels right. I don't let the tach tell me when to shift.
