Trunk Edge Protector?

Hello,
Does anyone know where to buy a trunk edge protector (not a trunk tray)? I've seen these on SUVs - the protector sits in the trunk but folds out over the bumper so things can be pushed in without chance of scratching the top of the bumper. Sort of like a mat which flaps over when needed.

Thansk,
Rich Z

It is called a cargo liner and one is not made for the TSX as of right now. They do however make one for the 2001-2002 Accord, which is close to our trunk type.

Look at H and A

I have never heard of these cargo liners for sedans; however, when I had some invisible film installed on my TSX, I had a strip placed along the paint directly below the trunk opening. It seems to help a lot.

you can also put 3M material (like a clear bra) on the top of the bumper to protect it.

Or just be careful like the rest of us. Can't imagine what someone might possibly put in the TSX trunk other than groceries and the occasional computer / office equipment.

well I play hockey and putting a hockey bag in and out of the trunk and over the edge has caused some really bad scratches. I would also like to find something

Golf clubs, kids baseball equipment, amps and guitars, camping equipment and the never ending Home Depot runs that seem to dominate my weekends!

All of these, while still being careful, still pose a risk to the bumper's finish.

Might try that BULK 3M FILM and cut it to size. Good idea!
Possibly make a large cardboard cutout of the bumper shape and transfer that to the film.
Hmmm....I smell another weekend project.

This is a bit budget but how about just putting a blanket or something tucked under the trunk tray or the spare tire lid? And just throw over the edge when you need to put something rough over it?

That's nice. You can stow basketballs and little children in the nets.
