Kinda weird, since they just released the Cabriolet version. I guess everyone who buys one of those will have a "super limited edition".

Ah. When I read the news article around June of last year, I didn't know they were still *building* the original Beetle. I guess I assumed they were discontinuing the current Beetle.
Thanks for the clarification. It never did quite make sense to me, since you see so darned many of them on the streets.

I love seeing lists like that; with only ONE vehicle from toyota; yet they're still the best selling car company in the US. Get the fuck outta here I piss on toyota. In anycase I'm a teen. I turned 19 today

The thing is these days. Alot of cars that arent in style are considered junkers. The kids wanna look good and they nag their parents until they buy them the one they want, or they have the parents who just dont care and obviously have money to throw away. My Father bought me my first car outta the blue...He is a Mustang lover and bought me a 94 Cobra and told me if I wrecked it then I couldnt get another car until I could afford one. I drove that car as cautious as I could until I paid it off and then I just turned into a friggin street machine. But I dont disagree with buying your kid the car he wants but you have to teach them to take care of it.
