threshhold?

this may sound like a dumb question....
i have an 08 TSX
i think its called a threshold, its the flat metal piece you see when the door is open and you look down, i think it says TSX on it.
question: should it be blue or silver?
it had a blue film on it and i assumed this should have been removed by the dealer so i pulled it off, but it was harder than expected, so i am worried that i shouldnt have done that

well, i warned you it would be a stupid question

thanks
n

Welcome to AZine. That's just a protective film, no harm done.

"Threshold"?
You must be a homeowner!
First time I've ever heard that term in reference to automotive door sill plates.
Perfectly understandable, though - I've thought the same thing myself, now and then.

Yeah, no big deal. ANytime you buy stainless steel appliances, you'll find blue (or sometimes some other colore) film to remove.

I have had my 2007 for a couple of months now, and I have yet to take off the piece of blue film. Anyone else keep theirs on for a ridiculous long time?

hey i like the way it looks!

I had mine on for a little over a year before taking it off. At first, I thought it was supposed to look like that.

I have an 06, and I left them on. So far they're still in perfect condition, so I have no plans to remove them. I like the blue anyway.

well you all made me feel better!
and - i agree, i like the blue look. usually when you have those protective films it is obvious that they are to be removed and they dont look good, or at least they would wear easily. I still have the film on the other 3 door sills and am in no rush to remove it.
