I bought the complete RDX key first, because I assumed it would work. I was wrong, but fortunately, Acura sells just the transmitter portion of the TL remote seperately. The rest of the assembly is identical between these two cars. I essentially have a TL transmitter w/ the trunk button removed, and fit into the RDX housing. I don't have a trunk, so there is no point in having a trunk button
Well guys, I posted the DIY Guide.... Check it out:

Im going to buy the key. Then wait for the diy thread. I want to see how you are doing it comparing to the other guy in the RSX Club. It will probably be the same unless you find some other way of doing it. I also want to see if youre going to use the jb weld. I think the 2 part epoxy is good enough. I used it on my accord key and its holding up really well. Only time will tell now.

Checked with Classic Accura at Beaumont & all 4 Dealers at Houston. None of them have it in stock and I hear that they may not be able to get it until Feb or Mar '07.
Has anyone else heard somethin similar?

I have bad news everyone...
They keys are in stock for owners ONLY! They will not let anyone buy one. I'm assuming this applies to special orders only because some people have already gotten them from dealerships that has them in stock. If the dealership is out of stock, they can only place orders for owners only due to limited supplies. I asked when could I buy one and the guy told me there was a ETA of mass shipments in Feb 07.......
So if you really want one now, call surrounding dealerships to see if they have them in stock...better grab them all while you can...
