I found my self on the way to work this morning I decide to go the long route a little back road driving then a top end run. Its a crisp cool morning for december but sunny and nice. She is running nice clean you can hear the cold air sucking in through the filter. I make the left onto rte 1 a little bit of traffic but oh well. I am on the ramp still 2nd gear in the 6spd manual trying to let the slower traffic get ahead of me. The music is load I selected some jazz a little john mayer for my morning run. I mash the pedal down then shift out into 3rd at 7000 rpms road conditions are right i look ahead going about 80mph now I can see like a mile or 2 down the road now troopers 4th gear at 100mph 2.4 liters of vtec kicking at 6200 u can still hear that cold crisp air sucking in shes still pulling my hands are gripping the wheel white knuckle driving at its best. My heart is pounding 125mph now and in 5th gear , jesus you feel the motor begging you not to stop, as I am holding the pedal to the floor I think to myself at this speed it only takes 1 wrong move and Im a dead man 1 car to swith into my lane to much air in 1 tire not enough in another and its dissaster. None the less I cant back off now I am almost there. The tach is at 6500 in 5th I only have 1 gear left and I am running out of room 142mph in 6th before I have to back off. Damnet probably some old man riding in the slow lane
