I like the Eibach line. I have used them on several other rides. I plant on a Pro-Kit in the next few weeks.

Many people have Eibach pro kit with 1.6" F and 1.4" R drop. However, after looking at pics people posted with Eibach pro kit, I'm leaning toward the Neuspeed sport instead (1.5" F 1.0" R). The Neuspeed sport seems to have a more balanced look than the pro kit (IMO). Since the TSX has a huge gap on the front, the springs need to drop the front a little more than the rear.

What have you heard/read about the Neuspeed springs? I wonder if they have a more “factory like” ride over the Eibach Pro-Kit. I am going to make a spring choice and install within the next 2 weeks, so I am interested in your feedback.

The shop that has done all of my spring installs recommends the Eibach and I have used them in the past on three vehicles, but all of those were the Sport Lines. However, I would LIKE to keep a close factory ride and desire nothing extreme.

I do not want premature tire wear either. On my old Accord, I was eating 17” tires every 15-20k miles. That is ok I guess, but I would rather stretch that to 25-35k if possible. That is hard to do with a performance tire, but rubber is not cheap. Therefore, a camber kit could be in the works if required.

TIA

I think one or two members have Neuspeed sport installed. You might be able to search and see what they think about them. I actually have both the Neuspeed sport and Eibach sportline sitting in boxes waiting for shocks and camber kit. The Neuspeed sport springs for the TSX are the same for 2003 + Accord coupe/sedan with 4 cylinders. The rear springs are also the same for 2003 + Accord 6 cylinders (the fronts are different).

Here's a pic of the two different springs. The red ones are Eibach sportline and the red/orange ones are Neuspeed sport. The Neuspeed coil seems to be slightly thicker than the Eibach. The Eibach front seems to have more dead coils. More useless info: Neuspeed front weights 5.75 lbs, rear 8.0 lbs. Eibach front 6.25 lbs F&R.

JTso, I wonder which spring will you plan to get it on TSX? I am thinking about getting Eibach Pro Kit with 19X7.5 wheels on TSX instead of Neuspeed sport spring. I also thought about Neuspeed Sport spring on TSX, They both looked great on TSX. Check it out on website with Neuspeed Sport spring with 19 inch wheels on white pearl TSX. http://www.clubtsx.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=4255

I think Neuspeed lowering spring on white pearl TSX with 19 inch wheels, they looked more aggresive and sporty and style. I have Neuspeed sport spring on 94 accord for 5 years, they are still good quality and a little stiff. But it is very good handling and control with speed. I also thought that Eibach lowering spring on blackhawk pearl TSX looked nice and a little aggressive and sporty. I am sure that Eibach Pro kit is close to stock and ride smooth, good quality and handling. Both spring are very good quality and made from Germany. Eibach has been top and Neuspeed have been number 2 rated in lowering springs.

I was wondering the same thing and did a search. This thread has some good input.

The best comment in the thread is

Eibachs tend to offer a smoother ride.
Nuespeeds are not progressively sprung, as such they offer a much stiffer feel. Nuespeed MUST be installed with better then OE shocks. Eibach Prokits will work fine on OE shocks as they are intended to work with them just fine. The Nuespeeds are good springs just much harsher in everyday use.

You may want to look at H&R spings too, they tend to fit right between Eibachs and Nuespeeds in the stiff factor and work fine on OE shocks as well.
I like Neuspeed's drop the best, but if being higher doesn't help the ride any, I'd go w/ Eibach. Does anyone here have H&R?

Neochaser, Comptech offer lowering spring at 1.0 F and 1.0R on TSX. I think Eibach and Neuspeed are better quality than Comptech. That's my opinion, thanks.

Neuspeeds are not progressively sprung? Then read this.

Anytime the spring rate is increased and ride height is lower, the stock shocks should be replaced with performance units, Btw, H&R sport has higher spring rate than both Eibach pro and Neuspeed sport. I would ask the guy to share whatever he is smoking but I quit a long time ago.

TEIN?

how about TEIN coilever?...is it any good???...TEIN usually does a good job on Honda/Acura cars...
and why tein coilever is way too expensive compares to the other springs?...is it only because they are lengh-adjustable? any other goods?

any opinion will be appreciated!
