I am looking into getting a 6spd/NAV. TSX in an undetermined(at this time) color, how long is it going to take to wrangle one up? I am coming out of a lease in April and would like a near seamless transition. The owner of the Acura dealership I plan on dealing with sits on one of the same board of director's that I am on, so I trust I will get a good deal and great service. However I don't think I need to go bother him yet or do I? Thanks for any input

 

I don't think anyone is going to have any real wisdom here on the subject. Its just going to depend on whats available in your area. Me personally, it took about 1 1/2 months to wrangle up a Milano Red 5A NAVI in MD.

 

I was looking for an ambiguous answer, I wasn't sure I needed 1 month or 4. So I have a little time, that's all I was looking for- thanks for the input!

 

Better get going! I ordered a CG/Quartz/MT/Navi Oct/17. Was supposed to be built 12/15. As of today I don't have a ship date or a clue when it will be delivered. Was supposed to be here by the end of Jan but that is not going to happen. Certain color and equipment combinations, such as mine, can make for a long wait! Good luck!

 

budzzz, as of yesterday, the plano, tx dealer had the same exact car your waiting on, g.f. called them to ask them if they had silver...

Maybe your dealer could transfer? Or maybe you could pull your deposit and go get it from them....

Got a call from my salesguy today and he found out my TSX is on the way from Japan.He also gave me my VIN #. It will be production# 21734. He said it will be ready to roll in 3 weeks. Has been a long process!!! I will have about 15 weeks of waiting into this car.

 

I think I will go to the dealership at the end of this month and get the ball rolling, if I get the car a little early it'd be no skin off my balls

 

I went into my dealer here in Chicagoland on Saturday and wanted the Carbon Gray/Ebony With Navi. He found me one coming in from Japan and it is supposed to be here on Jan. 26th. My salesman called today to inform me it would be in this Friday! No wait time in Chicago

 

I must live a charmed life. Called four dealerships and saw one on Acura's website near my office. That one plus another had my color and specs in stock. Went to the one near my office on Sat 12/27, pick up the car on Mon 12/29. Could have picked it up that same day but the bank was close.

 

It only took me 3 days to get the exact combo I wanted.. from a dealer trade back in June.
