how are you gonna pull that off. says you live in cerritos and with CA tax i doubt you can get an 06 with nav for $27k already + destination + tax + tags? could easily do it for an 05 though.

and yeah, an RL is like $40k in socal right now for an 05 if you are willing to take an 05.

nice choice on the wheels. i love the a-specs (might have to get them on ebay someday)

I agree on selling the stock wheels, I'm pretty sure someone here might buy it. As a matter of fact I think I would but maybe just one to use as a spare. But anyways congrats on your new TSX and what color is it btw?

i never knew the TSX could cost that much completely i mean completely loaded, geez.

are you sure u want to pay that much? j/k.

u must love the TSX that much that you didn't opt for a TL, BMW 330i, or an RL almost for that price.

unless they changed the price up the body kit to like 700 a piece or something which still means they are ripping you off. as long as you are happy though it doesnt really matter i guess.

Wow..., to think that I always contemplate on giving it more effort and shaving my deal down to $27k flat (out-of-door) instead of $27,2XX.

In comparison, I feel like I got a super deal. Am I even at the right forum?

Wow, you can get a base IS350 for that much.

Or a nicely equiped IS250.

I would never pay that much for a TSX.

I test drove the IS250 auto and manual over the weekend and I'm in love with the Lexus. I'm going to be getting it next year.

Did you at least get navi?

I paid $25K for non-navi but I got the OEM spoiler, all season mats, and wheel locks. The guy who started this thread only paid $2K more than you and it seems like he got EVERY possible accessorie there was to choose from.

the i-ves/wheels/bodykit is where most of the cost came from, and yes that is OTD including tax..

the car w/ nav was 30,500 (after destination charges).
dealer dropped it to $29,800 so pretty much MSRP w/o destination charges.

tax alone (6%) was a little over $2,100.

for those that say i should of got the RL, the RL STARTS at 49k, sure i could of got an 05 RL for a little less but not below 45k! and no where near 38k!

could of got a TL, but that's still w/o the bodykit, wheels, i-ves which would end up bring the TL to 45k anyway.

the car is Blue pearl. If this car isn't in before december dealer say i can pick another color that will arrive earlier.. i saw the glacier metallic blue, that will be my second choice though.

i'd like to see ANYONE get the '06 TSX for $29k or less.. dealer arent lowering the price of these cars, they are rare and hard to get!

if you're expecting to pay less, you wont be getting the 06 til late next year!

Bad idea IMO!! Once that monitor flips down you lose complete use of your rear view mirror. And the FM modulation(as we all know) sux! There are so many cheaper and better ways to get a video in the car.

Sorry to say.....but they saw you comming!!!!

Congrats on the new car, but the price definately aint worth braggin about!

And if you can stop it, don't sell your wheels to the dealer. BTW how much did they rape you for aspec wheels? Did you at least get the aspec kit for $40K???

LOL i'm certainly not bragging about the price. notice the in the first line.

there is about a 5 hour labor time to install the i-ves - so $1,800 isnt all that bad installed.. sure i could of got an aftermarket TV/DVD for cheaper, but i'd still have to pay to have it installed.. i am lazy and not about to spend 5 hours installing something myself..

i pretty much did get the a-spec package, just w/o the suspension.. you all do the math:

$29,800
tax: $2,100
a-spec: $3,000 (w/o suspension)

that right there brings the car to $35k.

it comes with the a-spec but i told the dealer not to install it til i see it in person, i can always sell it after just like i plan to do with the a-spec suspension.. since i plan to get aftermarket suspension.

OK.....so.... Aspec without suspension = what? Rims and a spoiler? So I'm gonna say, $300 for the spoiler and $2700 for rims. For $2700 I don't think I would buy the aspec rims.

BTW-

You could have saved some money here and there, but if you already bought it and can't get the money back. Then don't worry about now. Just enjoy your TSX when you get it. This reminds me of when I buy stuff at the store, and then see it on sale a couple of weeks later. It's a crappy feeling, and that's why I try to stop looking at the sales ads after I buy something.
