important decision...
ok i'm close to making my deal in the next few days...and i need to decide on a color combination. right now i'm leaning towards CG with ebony interior...but the black with ebony interior is a close second. anyone have any advice?
nothing more rabid than a discussion about cgp vs nhb, although it won't be long before dzuy comes online to tell you to buy white and starts flailing you with a trout. You might run a search on the two colors to see what has been said before........
I had a black car before getting my TSX and have vowed never to get one again. They show dirt mercilessly, and unless you are one of those guys who will wash it weekly (and you may be) it will look soiled and dusty for some chunk of the time. I find the CGP to be reasonably tolerant of a certain amount of road grime before I feel it essential to wash it, which isn't easy in my urban location. That said, there are a number of devoted NHB TSX owners on this site, who would not have it in any other color.
The CGP is what might be called "gunmetal" on some color charts; in some lights, the color shifts to a blue-grey. Some have been distressed by that, others, like me, like the subtle change of color that the car illustrates in different light conditions. I also think the CGP works well with the aluminum trim of the interior, and the whole "package" is crisp, understated and very fresh. (I have the quartz interior, and in retrospect, might have been happier with black)

Good luck on the purchase pete! I would go with CG rather than blk. Black is so stinkin hard to keep clean. Although it looks great when it is clean. I like Silver because I you go weeks without washing and it still looks great.
thanks for the responses...i currently have a black car as well and i think it's time to change it up. personally i'm not sure i like the fact the CG looks blue in some lights, i wish it were darker...but i think that's what i'll go with

My last 3 cars were black (witch I like) but I feel like I should maybe do something differently this time... Nah, I ordered mine TODAY (Yeah baby) in black once more.
The little voice in my head tells me that I would end up regretting it if I pick something else.

I think the black interior compliments the silver/aluminum trim and dash the best.
