Fuse puller?

Is it just me, or is there no fuse removal/insertion tool to be found anywhere in the car? Used to be that in cars there was always one clipped to either inside of the fuse box cover, or somewhere on the panel.

For the big fuses in the engine bay, or for the mini fuses in the driver's footwell?

I'm referring to a puller for the mini fuses.

As mentioned above, there's a white mini-fuse puller in the underhood fuse box.

Well, that's great to know. And I probably deserve an RTFM. But geez, that's a dumb place to put it!!

Well, I have several bathrooms in my house, but I don't put toilet paper in just one of them...because that puts you in a predicament when you accidentally use the room without paper .

In my experience, I've found that I've had to mess with the fusebox in the driver's footwell (which is all mini-fuses) a lot more than the one under the hood (which also has mini-fuses). There ought to be a puller in the one inside the car - it's gotta be like a 10 cent universal part that can fit in the fusebox of every Honda and Acura, and pretty much any other car with mini-fuses too. Call me lazy, but why have get outside and lift a dirty and possibly wet or covered in snow hood to get to something that could have been inside.

Have never had the need to pull a fuse out of either fusebox in my TSX in almost 4 years. As a matter of fact, I can't recall ever needing to pull one in my Nissan Frontier that's now 7 years old, or my Integra that I had from '92-'04....

...and I usually use a small pair of pliers if I need to pull a fuse on a customer's car at work.

Just to be clear, the fuse puller is mounted on the underside of the cover of the Engine Compartment Fuse Box (at least on the 2011 TSX Wagon). Next to it are spare fuses.
