Don't know if anyone has talked about this before but anyone notice that when you lock the windows all the lights for the window switches of the locked windows go out. Only your drivers side window light stays on the drivers side door and all the other lights switch off on everyone elses door.
I just thought that was cool. A nice piece of fit and finish... good thinking Acura
(and btw that farting thing is hilarious, works all the time )

An Acura salesman showed me this one. I don't own a TSX (yet), but I have tried this on a TSX and a friend's TL
Press the voice command button, and say "Nearest Blowjob"
The Navi will then find you a list of local hotels

If you still don't believe me...here is Audi's equipment guide in PDF's, just click on your car. Show me where that feature comes standard:
http://www.audiworld.com/model/historical.html
Also, check this info out:
http://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec.html
Or just do a search on Audiworld and you will find out for yourself, here:

The dealer can program the windows to go up and down with a VAG tool, but it does not come standard. In 02 it may have been possible to get your car programed that way, maybe you got yours used and the previous owner did it, or maybe the dealer you bought it from did it to all his cars. In 04 and forward they won't do it. I know that because I tried last year and the dealer refused to program my A6's windowns to close with the FOB.

I'm trying to have a harmless conversation to reach resolution to an issue here. I don't know why you keep saying i'm crying. Maybe because I proved you wrong...whatever it is, that response was enough for me to end it as well because you did nothing to help your argument and did a lot to help mine. Saying mine is an 01 and your on Audizine (The links were from Audiworld btw) did nothing to negate my argument.
If you wanna keep calling me names, that's fine. If you want to be a man and know how to talk to people, try giving a normal response.

It just started to rain outside, so I ran out thinkin, "I'm gonna be so slick and just close the sunroof with the key." [run to the car] "Here we go" [key in the door, turn left, turn left again... wait 5 seconds...wait 10 seconds]
nothin
Did Acura forget about the sunroof? or does the car have to be unlocked first? Doh.

according to my 2006 quick guide/manual, when you press lock on the FOB all the doors lock and the alarm arms. when you press it a second time, the beep indicates that the trunk and sunroof are properly closed

"On "non-Nav" TSX and Accords, holding the "AUTO" and "DUAL" buttons on the climate-control while starting the car will bring up an interface to some diagnostic features of the climate-control system.
This includes a few things like a digital display of the engine coolant temperature and other stuff.
My question is: Where can I find a guide that explains what each number means?
I've found out that #4 is the coolant temperature, but what about the rest? Does anyone know?"
Just saw this posted on another TSX site, anybody know about this??? Sounds pretty cool!

I just found this one (b/c I have access to AllData):
How to Retrieve a DTC (Without HDS)
The audio-HVAC display module has a self-diagnosis function for climate control. To run the self-diagnosis function, do the following:
1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2. Press the AUTO button, and set the temperature to Lo.
3. Press and hold the OFF button. While holding the OFF button, press the rear window defogger button fire times within 10 seconds . The self-diagnosis will begin.
If there is any problem in the system, the temperature indicator will light up the segment (A through Q) corresponding to the error. The temperature indicator will then alternate every second between displaying "88" (all segments lit) and the error code segment (A through Q). To determine the meaning of the DTC, refer to the DTC Troubleshooting Index.
There are a couple of pics that show you what A-Q is, but it has to do with the Driver and Passenger temp numbers. It will show 88 every couple of seconds to switch between codes.
Cancelling the Self-diagnosis Function
Turn the ignition switch OFF or press the AUTO button to cancel the self-diagnosis function. After completing repair work, run the self-diagnosis function again to make sure that there are no other malfunctions.

Small handle on inside of trunk lid
This used to be a useful post by the way. Even those of us who read the owner's manual found some interesting features here that we didn't know about.
In fact, I just discovered a small "assist" handle mounted on the inside right of the trunk lid used to close the trunk. Never knew it was there
I discovered it after I found a similar thing on the trunk of my friend's BMW, except his was more like an indented "well" instead of a little plastic handle.

This is probably a stupid question, but it doesn't warrant it's own thread and this one is discussing these little features...
About the trunk lock out. Let's say you use the master to lock the trunk popper below the driver's seat and then give someone the valet key.
What's to stop that person from just hitting the master unlock switch on the driver's door and using the trunk button on top of the license plate?
